DESIRE

The Math Healer is committed to arousing mathematical desire in all of his students.  I firmly believe that stimulated desire is the catalyst which sparks enthusiastic mathematical inquisitiveness in my students.

That ongoing enthusiasm gives the students the persistent determination to master mathematical concepts which may appear to be challenging and difficult to understand.

Desire sparks enthusiasm, which arouses inquisitiveness which creates a determined desire to attain mathematical mastery.

Unyielding desire will always overcome doubt and an initial lack of self confidence.

Napoleon Hill’s book entitled “Think And Grow Rich” states the following on page 176:

“The starting point of all achievement is desire.  Keep this constantly in mind.  Weak desires bring weak results,  just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat.”


DISCIPLINE

Discipline is similar to the mechanisms which focuses the lense of a microscope or parabolic mirror.

Discipline takes the students’ thoughts and concentrates and redirects those mental processes to the conceptual focal point.

It keeps them on the established conceptual glide path. It maintains this mental focus so that they will successfully acquire, process, internalize, assimilate and master the core concepts that are necessary for them to be able to expand their minds into the abstract frontiers of math and science.

The Math Healer monitors his students’ thoughts, analytical and reasoning processes, and psychological disposition to determine how best to awaken and nurture unyielding discipline in his students.


DEDICATION:

Dedication produces persistence.

The Math Healer adopted the philosophy regarding persistence from Napoleon Hill’s book entitled “Think And Grow Rich”:

(1) “Without persistence, you will be defeated even before you start.  With persistence, you will win.”  - pg 178.

(2) “Be persistent no matter how slowly you may, at first, have to move.  WITH PERSISTENCE WILL COME SUCCESS.”  - pg 178


(3) “Those who have cultivated the habit of persistence seem to enjoy insurance against failure.”  - pg 179.

(4) “The hidden guide lets no one enjoy great achievement without passing the persistence test.  Those who can’t take it simply do not make the grade.”  - pg 179.

Dedication generates persistence which ultimately produces success.
